1. Choose the right box size. Select a box that comfortably fits your items with enough space for packing material around them. If you don’t have a balikbayan box, you can buy our jumbo boxes.
2. Wrap Individual Items: Wrap each item separately with bubble wrap or foam sheets to protect them from impact during transit.
3. Layer Packing Material: Line the bottom of the box with packing peanuts or crumpled paper for cushioning.
4. Arrange Items Strategically: Place heavier items on the bottom and lighter, more fragile items on top. Ensure there is no empty space between items
5. Securely Close the Box: After the box has been packed, use packing tape to seal all seams and close the openings. To guarantee the box’s integrity, reinforce the corners and seams.
6. Label the Box Clearly: Clearly write the destination address and your return address on the top and sides of the box. Incorporate any pertinent customs information, such as the value and contents.
7. Fragile Items Protection: To ensure the safety of fragile items during shipping, it is recommended that they be double-boxed. Insert the inner box containing fragile items into a larger box that is surrounded by packaging material.
